Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Meet our new addition

When we got a house it was always on our minds to get another dog. Kent wanted a Doberman and I was all for it, then while looking on Petfinder one night, i came across "Orville". I later found out that he was rescued from a Kill shelter in Dallas on the day that he was to be put to sleep along with his brother Wilbur, he was rescued at 6 weeks and 3.5 pounds. He was taken in by an adoption organisation in Dallas called CAN "Companion Animal Network" so after a few cute pictures Kent gave in and said lets give it a go.. I filled out the application and after a few days we got a response saying we good candidates for this puppy. On Thanksgiving day we met "Orville" at 13 pounds he was healthy and ready to play, he and Hunter got on better than we could have expect. Hunter is still not too keen to share chewies but as long as we have 2 ready he is fine!

Its been only a day and I found the 2 of them snuggled today! Its so cute.. i cant explain it!

So heres to the newly named "Cash"!

Finally a family of 4! the Scotts are VERY happy to have him! (Even Hunter!)

HA I knew it!!!

Can you tell I am doing my reserach today.. spending sometime on the computer!

I just figured out what i knew was true!!!!! This is going to be of interest only to my English Friends in America! But I finally figured out that Harry Enfield IS the voice of the Roaming Gnome on Travelocity! and he is DR ANGUS! HA.. I used to love him as a kid!

Ok Now I can go work out! my work here is done!

Decorating!

This is our pretty much completed living room, I would like some new tables, and we need a entertainment center for our big screen but apart from that! We are pretty good to go. This was my weekend project a few weeks ago, and I think it turned out great! it will match Kents office which will be gray. Its only a small room and it was mine to have fun with!

Been Busy~~

So I haven't written in a while, we have been busy with painting.. and unpacking which is no fun! I got to Ikea finally and got a few pieces, it is certainly coming together now. I haven't taken any pics of the living room yet, as the art is not all up, so when it is I will post them!

YAY I got it!!

Well I am finally a fully fledged American Airlines employee!!! I am so proud of myself! I am still at the bottom of the chain... but its the start I wanted!

First week at work..

So.... so far its ok! But I am very much looking forward to getting a permenant position somewhere else.. a little less.. maintenance... its cool being on a base where they have huge planes and plane parts in hangers... but I want to be in a nice office.. with a cubicle.. I applied for 2 positions today.. so we will see! :D

I am so excited I got hired at AA and start on Wednesday! Its not great to start but there are some great opportunities!! and flight benefits eventually!!

I have an interview with American Airlines today!!! CROSS EVERYTHING!!!

My birthday.. the beads were green for my green card...:) and it was nearly mardi gras!!!  

My Hunter!!! he was weighed in at 52lbs.. hes not fat either.. very muscley... but he could quite possibly be the biggest Beagle on the earth!!! :) 

My New Car!!! Isnt it smart!! :)Its leather on the inside!! and very grown up!! 

Well things are slow!

I turned 28 on Saturday... and it was a wonderful day, I got a beautiful card from my Husband, and presents and spent the evening with friends.... but at the end of the day I was still 28!!! with grey hairs to prove it..

I am still looking for a better job, and until I get said better job we cannot get a house, we are trying to do our taxes so that we can find out if we have any savings left... its all one big pain in the arse!!!

Anyway.. maybe this is a good week!!
